Making a Purchase
Making a purchase from our online shop is simple and easy. Just browse the catalogue and click on any items that you wish to purchase / order. Select the quantity required and add them to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection / shopping click check out and you will then be asked to fill in your details to enable dispatch of your goods.
We accept most visa and debit cards for payment, with the acception of American Express. We should not charge your card until the day your goods are dispatched. Back order items are not charged until they are shipped as well.
If you are shopping from the Republic of Ireland, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to Euros.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted on our online shop by 128bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Secure Server. You know when you're on a secure server as you see the padlock icon in the bottom right of your browser, if you don't have a padlock then it means the site isn't secure. All credit card numbers taken on our online shop are decrypted after they reach our computer and they are not held in “clear text” on any web site.
Shipping and Handling
We offer free shipping / delivery as standard for all UK and Republic of Ireland orders.
Delivery Schedule
We offer next day delivery for stock items on orders placed before 14.00hrs to most parts of mainland Britain with the exception of the Scottish Highlands, which takes 2 days. Please note that goods are delivered between 08.30 and 17.30 Monday-Friday (working days). For orders dispatched to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland please allow 2-4 “working days”.
Returns Policy
Goods sold on this website are supplied in good faith. If however you order the wrong item, are not completely satisfied with the items you receive or simply want to return your goods, you must arrange for them to be returned to us, and providing they are received by us in good condition (i.e. they have been handled with reasonable care), we will refund the cost of the goods in full less the carriage costs incurred by us. If any goods are faulty or damaged when you receive them, we will arrange for them to be replaced or refunded but you must notify us within 14 days of receiving delivery otherwise no claim will be entertained. Delivery charges for damaged or faulty goods or errors made by us will be fully refunded and/or not charged. Telephone customer services on 0800 085 6223. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK 17.5% VAT is added. Orders received from a company / business within the Republic of Ireland Company will be VAT exempt if they confirm a valid VAT number with their order. Orders from private individuals in The Republic of Ireland will be charged 17.5% Vat.
Filmtape Ltd reserves the right to revise the above mentioned policies at any time.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be deemed in default of this Agreement or the Client Order to the extent that performance of its obligations or attempts to cure any breach are delayed or prevented by reason of any act of God, fire, natural disaster, accident, riots, acts of government, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of such party; provided, that the party whose performance is affected by any such event gives the other party written notice thereof within ten (10) business days of such event or occurrence.
